Download & Access Help

This page explains exactly how to access your digital files from Exotic Music. If anything looks missing, don’t worry — most download issues are fixed in minutes.

How to download your files

After checkout, you can download your files in two places: (1) your order confirmation page and (2) your email receipt (if provided at checkout).

  1. Step 1 — Check your email receipt

    Look for an email from Exotic Music with your order details and a download link/button. If you don’t see it, check Spam/Junk and search your inbox for: “Exotic Music” or your order number.

  2. Step 2 — Use your order status page

    Your order page usually contains the download area for digital products. If you created an account, you can also access downloads in your account order history.

  3. Step 3 — Download the ZIP file

    Most products are delivered as a .zip file. Download it to your device, then unzip it to access WAV/MIDI/presets/project files (depending on the product).

ZIP won’t open / “File is corrupted”

This is usually caused by an incomplete download. Try the steps below:

  • Re-download the file using a stable connection (Wi-Fi is best).
  • Try a different browser (Chrome/Safari/Firefox) or a different device.
  • Use a dedicated unzip tool: 7-Zip (Windows), Keka (Mac), or any trusted unzipper.
  • If the ZIP still fails, contact us — we’ll help you get a fresh download.
Link expired / download not working

Some download links can expire for security reasons. If that happens:

  • Open your order page and try downloading again from there.
  • Check if you have multiple receipts (sometimes the first email is “order confirmed”).
  • Email us with your order number — we’ll resend access.
Missing file / I didn’t receive everything

Before contacting support, please:

  • Unzip fully (don’t preview inside the ZIP only).
  • Search inside the extracted folder for “WAV”, “MIDI”, “Presets”, “Project”, or “ReadMe”.
  • Make sure you downloaded the correct product (bundle vs single pack).

If anything is still missing, email Contact@Exoticmusic.us and include: order #, product name, and a quick screenshot of the folder contents.

Mobile download issues (iPhone / Android)

Mobile devices sometimes save ZIPs in different locations or block large downloads.

  • iPhone/iPad: Check the Files app → “Downloads” or “On My iPhone”. Tap the ZIP to unzip.
  • Android: Check “Downloads” folder. Use a file manager if needed to extract.
  • If you’re producing music, we recommend downloading on desktop for easiest setup.
I used the wrong email at checkout

No problem — contact us from the email you want to use and provide: order number, name on the order, and the original email used (if you remember it).
